Its narrative is rich and complex, choosing shades of grey rather than black and white while painting the cast’s psychological traits. Overpopulation, slavism, racism, these are the core themes, always treated with great care and humour. A must for sci-fi fans.

Firefly è una serie di fantascienza solo in superficie, caratterizzata un’inaspettata contaminazione con il western e dai personaggi credibili. La ricca narrazione preferisce dipingere le psicologie del cast con toni di grigio piuttosto che in bianco e nero. Sovrappopolazione, schiavitù, razzismo, questi i temi portanti, sempre trattati con attenzione e humour pungente. Un must per i fan della fantascienza.
